Astor Place at 445 Lafayette Street is an unprecedented Sculpture for Living designed by two of America’s most renowned modern architects, Charles Gwathmey and Robert Siegel. The 270-foot, 21-story asymmetrical tower features a collection of 39 museum–quality architectural loft residences. Undulating walls of floor to ceiling glass reveal panoramic views while natural zinc and limestone enhance the reflectivity of the building’s facade. The dramatic 25 foot height lobby and every apartment is designed by Gwathmey Siegel. Gracious loft style entertaining spaces featuring open kitchens, private master bedroom suites all with walk in closets and sumptuous spa bathrooms are found in each apartment. Each full floor penthouse is original in design and all enjoy keyed elevator access, dramatic reception galleries with fireplaces, outdoor terraces and 360-degree views. |
